On Farm Connectivity Program (OFCP) Round 3

The Australian Government's On Farm Connectivity Program (OFCP) provides rebates to primary producers investing in smart farming technology. The OFCP is part of the $656 million Better Connectivity Plan for Regional and Rural Australia, and helps primary producers in agriculture, forestry and fisheries take advantage of digital agribusiness solutions to boost productivity, improve safety and support more sustainable farming practices.
Round 3 is now open for applications. Eligible primary producers can receive a rebate of up to 50% of the cost of eligible equipment, capped at $20,000 (GST exclusive).
Rounds 1 and 2 were heavily oversubscribed, with funding fully allocated within a short period. If you're considering upgrading or installing new farm monitoring equipment, now is the time to act, register today to get your quote moving.

Goanna Ag initiates your online application and may invite you to contribute supporting information.
Your application is assessed by the OFCP team, who will advise their decision (this may take 2+ weeks).
On approval, Goanna Ag will invoice you for your share of the order (up to 50%, capped at $20,000 GST exclusive) and, where applicable, arrange installation.
You'll need to make payment promptly so we can meet our commitment to OFCP, which allows the Department to pay Goanna Ag the remaining share of the invoice.

The Government rebate is a first in, first served. Round 2 applications were filled within a short period. We strongly advise eligible producers to register as soon as possible.

No, approval is not guaranteed. Rebate amounts and eligibility are subject to the Round 3 Grant Opportunity Guidelines and assessment by the OFCP team.

Equipment purchased before your application has been formally approved is not eligible for a rebate.

No, if you received a rebate under Round 1 or Round 2 of the On-Farm Connectivity Program, you are not eligible for a further rebate under Round 3.
